DOMESTIC VIOLENCE TAKES A PART IN EASTER CELEBRATIONS

 During Easter or Christmas season many families break up due mis-understandings of denial to buy food ,meat or clothes of the day and fighting within family heads also "eat the Show".luweero district is one of the leading district in acts of domestic violence .Mr. Kipula's family is the example of the above

Kipuya is a  residence of kataggwe village ,kamira town council , Luweero district. 

According to kipuya's (Namagembe) aka Maama peter , says that on  Holy Saturday  , requested her husband to buy them meat for Easter ,but he denied insisting that he don't have money In the morning on Easter Sunday ,"I found him boughtMandaazi for our son and  the son of my neighbor  ,then after I went to him requesting money for salt so that I prepare break fast and lunch in time ,but also he denied ,but what hardly pained is , I got the information that he gave my neighbor (mukyala katuleebe)5,000shs so that she buy rice for Easter Lunch ." Maama peter said .

According to mr.kipuya told us that , his wife found him in many people in the bar and started querying and beating him that why wher he denied to give her money .

Kipuya also says that his wife started witchcrafting him " I have been asking Maama peter whether she brought something which makes us fight daily ,but she was silent about it ,now I found the traditional medicine in the bed ,its has brought smokes and fire ,so this medicine is heavy ....," kipuya said. but in her response  said that ,the medicine was for "kigalanga eky'omunda "which she treated using that medicine ,and when she got ok ,put the remained medicine somewhere in the house . She also added that ," kipuya is wanted to confiscate my phone which caused us to fight ,he don't want me to talk to any man  on this planet ."

Mukyala katuleebe, who is a part of this story ,she is their close neighbor,who is now staying alone caused the husband is in jail since February, According to the allegations  shows Mr. Kipuya had started corning mukyala katuleebe in Mr. Katuleebe's absence  !! ( Akanaakulyako Amanvu kajjira mukususa...) 

According to Maama peter ,says that this is not the fight time for them to fight , and they love have been built via weekly fightings .but they have a child of 6 years old .

This time ,their fighting started at 11:00pm on Easter Sunday and Mr. Kipuya chased his wife and she slept to a relative known as katongole in the same village.

According to katongole,says they are going to call local leaders today on Easter Monday so that they sort out this issue,but katongole condemned such a bad behavior cause it affects the children..
