See some of the traditionals to bury pope in three coffin.
1) The inner coffin ( Cypress wood ) .This represents the humility and simplicity .Cypress is a durable wood , symbolizing the hope of re-ssurection and the eternal nature of the soul.
2) The middle coffin (Zinc or Lead) .This is a lead coffin that preserves the body and protects it from decay. It also contains documents like a brief biography of the pope ,along with medals and other Items related to his papacy .
3) The outer coffin (Elm or Oak wood) .this is the final outer layer usually beautifully crafted , symbolizing dignity and the solemnity of the papal office.
Those triple coffin is tradition is rich in meaning -combining , simplicity,preservation and honor
