Pope Leo XIV will be formally installed as pope on 18 when he hold his inugural public in St Peter's square, providing the new pope's schedule for the rest of the month .
At 10:00am on Sunday May 18 2025 with a special mass which will mark the beginning of Leo's pontificate.
On Saturday 10th May .-Meeting with college of cardinals
On Sunday 11th May - Reciting the Regina Caeli prayer for the main balcony of st Peter's basilica
On Monday 12th - Meeting with world press
On Friday 16th -Meeting with the Vatican's Diplomatic corps ,the heads of it's mission abroad .
On Sunday 18th May .: Mass for the beginning of the pontificate in church
On Tuesday 20th - Taking prossesion of the papal Basilica of st Paul outside the walls
On Wednesday 21th May .- First general audience with the public
On Saturday 24 - Meeting with the Roman Curia and Vatican city officials
On Sunday 25th - Second Regina Caeli prayer.
