The Territorial police in Nakasongola district are currently investigating a case of suspected stolen cows that occurred on Thursday 12th June 2025 , Nakasongola police was notified about the cases of stealing cattle that were reported in different police stations. I.e. Lwampanga p/s , Migeera p/s and Nakasongola CPS.
Nakasongola police conducted intelligence led operations in different villages of kansirye, katitiza, kakonde , katego Sasira , all in Wabinyonyi subcounty Nakasongola district 38 cows were recovered and ten suspects arrested, out of ten suspects had sanctioned files of stealing cattle pending court while others are under inquiry.
