The president of Nigeria Bola Ahmed Timubu announced the death of his predecessor, President Muhammad Buhari .
A former president of Nigeria Muhammad Buhari died in London at around 4pm . following a prolonged illness .
Buhari was born on 17th December 1942 in Daura, in Nigeria. He was a Nigeria politician who served as the president of Nigeria from 2015-2023.
He retired from the Nigerian army as Major General. He was the military Heads of the state of Nigeria from 31th December 1983 to 27th August 1985.
The president Tinubu has now ordered all flag at half as a mark of respect from the departed leader.
