Pope Leo confirms St John , A newest Doctor of The Church

 Breaking News to Catholic church, today on 31 July , pope Leo declared St John Henry Newman as the newest Doctor of the Universal Church.

In the statement from Holy See press office which reported that during an audience meeting granted to cardinal Marcello semeraro the prefect of Dicastery of the Cause of saints, Pope comfirmed the affirmation opinion of the plenary sessions of cardinals and Bishops , members of Dicastery , regardless of the title of Doctor of the church, which will soon be conferred on St John Henry Newman.

Pope pave the way for st John Henry Newman to be the formally declared "Doctor of the Church"

ST John Henry Newman was born in February 21, 1801 , he was first Anglican priest, but in 1845, converted to Catholic.

In 1947 was ordained a Catholic priest.In 1879 , Pope Leo xiii created him a cardinal.

He later died at Birmingham Oratory in 1890.

He was declared blessed by pope Benedict xvi on 19 September 2010.and later was canonised by pope Francis in 2019.

At 25 years of age , Newman said he had met God , not as a notion but as a person .
