National Drug Authority Raises Red Flag -Reports suspects or contunue getting faulse HIV results

 Public urged to be vigilant as National Drug Authority UN covers group changing expiry dates on Drugs. 

NDA has commenced investigations on individuals arrested with Government drugs.

NDA conducted an operation in drug stores in Kampala city centre  ( Wilson Street ) and arrested 10 suspects. 

The suspects have been found to have tampered with expiry dates of several diagnostic devices of HIV and malaria .

During the operation, over 40 boxes of government drug including ARVs ,   HIV testing kits , relabelled malaria and HIV testing   kits were recovered  .

Abyaz Rwamwiri the NDA spokesperson is urging the public to be vigilant and report such cases as the practice is puting  the lives of many people at risk as they end up getting wrong results.
