The Buganda kingdom marked kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi 11 70th birthday with thanks giving mass at Rubaga cathedral , where katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga emphasised unity , cultural preservation,and HIV/AID awareness . In his address, Mayiga praised the kabaka' s 70 year legacy of leadership, including his role in restoring the kingdom after exile ."we celebrate not just his life but his enduring service to Buganda," he said , urging citizens to honor this legacy through solidarity and development. The mass , led by Archbishop Paul Ssemwogerere, featured prayers for the kabaka' s health and a vibrant display of traditional music .
