18 African cardinals who will elect the successor of pope Francis.
Africa has 29 cardinals and will be represented at the conclave with 18 cardinals electors ,who are under 80 years old and have the right to vote .Ivory coast has the largest representation in the region with 2 electors, followed by other countries , each only 1 cardinal elector of the 18 African cardinals electors , one was created by pope John Paul ll , two by pope Benedict xv1 , and 15 by pope Francis.
