The territorial police in Luweero district have recovered a stolen car , with Reg. No UAV 770L,a G touring Corolla, and arrested three prime suspects connected to the theft.
On the 09th Sept 2025, the vehicle was stolen from a residence in Wobulenzi ,kalyesubula David aged 28,who drove the stolen vehicle from the crime scene to Buwambo in wakiso district 2here itcwas recovered .In this scandal,kiwanuka Geoffrey, identified as the chief organizer of the vehicle theft ring , responsible for selling stolen vehicle, including recovered car.
These suspects also confessed to stealing another vehicle, Reg, No UAN 906J, an Ipsum white car from Katikamu and sold it in Bwaise , Kampala.
According to the suspects , revealed that they were master minded by Kakuru Kenneth who was the general theft operations , whom reportedly left prison in earlier this year on the similar charges .
