Nakaseke .
While attending the wedding ceremony of Mr.Godfrey Ssendi's daughter(Namala Faith ) at Nakaseke - Ssaza village , Nakaseke district . The Bishop of Mityana diocese Dr .James Bukomeko asked the people of greater luweero (Nakaseke, Nakasongola and luweero) to demand the government to construct them good roads in their area .
Bukomeko says that Luweerolians lost their beloved ones and their property in the NRA war which brought the NRM government into power "it's very shameful and un-fair to see other areas having well constructed roads while greater luweero has un-accessible roads which make them suffer to access other services".
He appealed the community to wake up and demand good services from the government most especially at this time when we're heading to 2026 General election.
Kampala -Gulu high way is the only better route which luweero has . But other small roads which connects to business centres are in emergency unit .and some roads are destroyed by snowtrucks .
Bishop Bukomeko concluded encouraging the marriage people to respect their marriage because it's God given .
Also C.E.O of luweero online radio .Mr Mandevu Johns attended the function with the message to the parents , to teach their children social and cultural practices and keep them in faith.
