Former Chairperson Electral Commission Dies !

Former Kenyan chairperson of the  Independent Electral and Boundaries commission  (IEBC) Wafula chebukati died at the age of 64 .

Chebukati served as IEBC chairperson from January 2017 to January 2023 . The reports  indicates that he has been in hospital  in recent months due to undisclosed illness .

Chebukati  was born on 22nd December 1961  in Bungoma county. He went to st. Peters school mimics, Bukoli secondary and Lenana high school. He was holding a Bachelor's degree in Law from university of Nairobi and masters in business administration from JKUAT .
