People of Wabitunda, Kasana and Nakaseeta in Kiwoko town council, Nakaseke district filled with excitement and hope as welcomed an MP aspirant,Hon Nakawooya Esther contesting for Nakaseke district on a NUP ticket,who visited them with a strong message of transformation.During the gathering ,hon Nakawooya promised to uplift Nakaseke to a new level through improved service delivery,better community support system.
Addressing the residents, she pledged that once elected , every village in Nakaseke district would receive essential items to support community function. These includes saucepans, tents plates ,chairs and other materials that will help villages organize public ceremonies with dignity and ease .She emphasized that strong support communities grow from strong support structures.
Hon Nakawooya Esther also highlighted the ongoing work of Esther Nakawooya Foundation , which she described as a lifeline for many vulnerable children. Through the foundation, she has already supported over 3,000 children with school fees, essential supplies and welfare assistance .Just recently,the foundation donated blankets, school uniform,books, mosquito nets, basins and other necessities to over 500 children,in areas of Kamuli in Nakaseke . .
She assured the community that this support will not stop . The foundation is preparing another round of donations scheduled for February , just after the election ,to reach more people in need .
Hon Nakawooya is competing with hon Najjuma Sarah who represented Nakaseke for ten years
